How to Setup Payment Methods in OpenCart
With OpenCart you can use many different payment options. Payment modules for the most popular money processors are available in the default OpenCart installation. For different and more specific payment processors you may need to install extra modules.
On this tutorial we will show you how to enable one of the pre-installed payment modules - the Bank Transfer. The first step is to go to your admin area and click on the Extensions -> Payments menu.
On this page, you will find a list of all the available payment methods that are available in your store. Select the one you need and click on the Install link next to it. For the purpose of this tutorial we will install the Bank Transfer payment method.
Once the payment module is installed successfully, an Edit link will appear next to the payment module. Click on it to go to the configuration page of the payment method.
Each payment module has different settings page and accepts different options. Fill in all the required information in order to make the chosen payment method work. Once you're done, hit the Save button and you'll start accepting money through the newly installed payment method.
