We could not log into our WordPress dashboard. It appeared there might be a problem with a plugin (possibly UserPro) but since we could not log in, there was no way to verify this.

Petar M. was very resourceful in attempting a number of fixes, before replacing the database with a saved copy. It worked and we are very grateful.

There are "cheaper" Internet vendors than SiteGround but the service we have received from SiteGround has been uniformly brilliant. Our thanks especially to Petar today but also for your entire staff.

I would like to let you know that Dessy H. was extremely helpful to me, and I am very grateful to her.

I called yesterday morning (11/25) to ask about a problem with my website. In minutes, she had it figured out and wrote the solution in an email to me which I then passed on to my web designer.

But there is more!

Dessy followed up 24 hours later today, with a detailed analysis of my problem. I had not asked her specifically to do this.

Today, it is really hard to get that level of follow up and concern in online businesses. Each time you call, there is a different agent.

She is an exception. SiteGround should be proud to have her.

I wanted to take a minute to say that I was extremely impressed by the help that Ivan provided me today. My initial inquiry was a simple request about whether I could add a second user to the SiteGround login. He answered that quickly, which was great. The reason I was asking about a second login is that a colleague in my business wanted to get in and make changes to the mail system to set up forwarding of mail accounts from AWS to accounts here. I asked if he could help with that and he was happy to. He patiently stayed on the line for about 40 minutes while I set up an addon domain, added all 8 of my email accounts and asked questions about mailbox size limits, hosting plan changes, etc.

In short, Ivan was prompt, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work with him today, and he represents your company very well. You should give the man a cookie, a raise, a pat on the back, or all of the above :)

FYI, I visited Bluehost and was a little taken aback by web pages that timed out with 404 errors and help staff who were a little indirect with their responses. Ivan, by contrast, put my mind at ease. I feel like spending $60 at Siteground is a better investment than doing so at a competitor. Tervel was a great help tonight! I was referred to SiteGround upon a friend's recommendation. Got online, had some questions, and they were answered. By a real person. And it didn't seem like canned or cut/paste responses even though he's likely answered my questions at least 10000 time before. He stayed on chat while I placed my order and migration request and that was such a huge comfort. I don't recall the last time I went through such an easy website change. I spend a lot of time annoying SiteGround staff through the chat support with my total incompetence and general lack of patience/time and they are always amazing (even if I have chat shouted at them...which I'm very sorry about) because I understand how boring it must be answering the same stuff all day and how frustrating it is when someone doesn't understand something that is crystal clear to you, and then as well having to do that all through text, but even with my adamant love of SiteGround staff this guy has not only absolutely knocked me back with his cheerful, clear, concise handling of my problem through it's varying stages but has actually also, somehow, managed to make me feel part of the technical process and given me a sense of confidence in the structural integrity of my website/domain/host process and standing whereas before I have felt like myself and as such the website has been treading water trying to constantly recover from past errors whilst setting up and creating the site.

It might sound suuuuuuuper dramatic but as a novice who has put my heart, soul and waaaaaay too much time into my stupid website it's really awesome to feel so confident that it's being well looked after and also given the care (I think, anyway) it deserves. Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that Lachezar or "Lacho" was of great assistance to me. I've been a loyal customer of you guys for 2 years now and am very satisfied. Earlier today my little video game forum went down and I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't due to the CPU usage thing, it simply said "server not found" when loading it. So then I contacted support and Lacho was (very) quick to respond. He explained to me in detail (I'm not a neckbeard so I needed it broken down to me in layman terms) about how since I upgraded to GoGeek I have to change the DNS servers to point to different ones. Long story short, Lacho was a great help and was not vague -- he gave me specific instructions which really helped. I'm going to change the server stuff now. I contacted SiteGround in a panic at 11PM because my developer was behaving horribly so I was afraid that if I fired him before gaining control of my site that he would do something to harm my brand. I don’t believe it’s possible for me to accurately describe how impressed I am with the service I received from Nikola but, none the less, he deserves an attempt! He truly went above and beyond, exceeding all of my expectations, by answering every question I had about the GrowBig plan, data traffic and transfers, bandwidth, privacy policies, eCommerce requirements and policies, sub/parked/add-on domains, SSL certificates, SSL providers and client encryption, up/downgrading services, the various types of support offered to clients, content policies, and how ToS issues are addressed. The range and complexity of the issues I was concerned about should indicate how complex and time consuming the chat was; Nikola managed to be the determining factor in my decision to use SiteGround. While I was sincerely curious about the issues we discussed, it was also an opportunity for me to get a glimpse at how knowledgeable the support staff is and how quickly representatives are able

to address issues. I’ve worked in IT and network security for many years and am completely astonished at how much I enjoyed the conversation while Nikola answered every question or concern I had. I mentioned in our chat that a raise should be applied based on his hair, my idea…not his, but I do not believe that would be sufficient or deserving of his skills or patience. It’s a rare occasion for a person to be as satisfied with a representative who is attempting to persuade them to spend money while also making such a lengthy commitment. SiteGround is only one out of the almost thirty hosting competitors I contacted but none were as helpful, knowledgeable, or friendly as Nikola. I’m sure I’m not the only customer but Nikola is to thank for my decision to purchase a hosting plan with SiteGround.

She was polite, thorough, friendly, very knowledgeable (about domain transfer, DNS, gmail, etc), and most importantly, she took ownership of my problem and followed it through to the solution. Great people like Gabriela are the reason I come back to Siteground. Also a shout out to "Taleaus" in the same call center who also provided excellent service. At the end of the call, I ended up spending money at Siteground, but I did not feel as though I had been sold anything. No hard sell at all.

It is been such a hard week for me because my website has been on and offline, not loading, all kinds of problems. My friend suggested I try switching it all over to SiteGround. At Siteground I was supported by Momchil and this was a very pleasant experience. Knowledgeable, fast, service minded, friendly, I can probably add more positive words. This review is taking place because I was so satisfied with Mr. Atanas support that I ask him if there was any way for me to provide a very deserved review of his support beside just offering the standard star rating.

After so many years dealing with hosting service and support is the first time that I have been served with an unlimited cast of high level trained personnel.

So far my greatest experience (all have been excellent) has been with Mr. Atanas few weeks ago, then I have issue trying the create a testing site o my site afroliterd.com. Happens that I have a ssl certificate installed and that made it very complicated for me to deal with.

In this case i as assisted with Mr. Atanas and he calmly and patiently listen as I explained to him the issue and then he took full charge troubleshooting and testing alone with me for more than one hour. Through the whole process he was very polite, disciplined and showed great skill set and professionalism.

Finally after solving the issue he showed his satisfaction for supporting me in that time and effort consuming case and even ask me if there was something else he can help.

I feel so happy that after hours and hours of research to decide a good provider for me to move my woocommerce store, I can tell that I did the right choice with SiteGround and I sure I will see my business growth with you.

Words simply won't suffice about how grateful I am to have spoken to Dimitar today. I was having a very unique issue in trying to determine why I could not load my page via Siteground. I had recently transferred a domain and I was under the impression that the issues stemmed from an incomplete propagation process. However, Dimitar spent over an hour talking with me to try and troubleshoot the issue. It turned out to be local and I was able to find resolve, but I would not have been able to isolate the issue without Dimitar's help. Now I realise why my friend recommended Siteground so highly. I needed an issue with my email accounts addressed, and (through your very intuitive interface for support and in general) I was directed to live chat as the best option, my chat was answered in under 2 minutes, Vladislav addressed and fixed the issue immediately, and did it in a very courteous manner. (I also very much like the personal touch that the rep's picture and service stats gives, and I was VERY impressed with the visible option to elevate the chat to a superior (although it was totally unnecessary here). His writing and formal skills are the best I've ever witnessed. I never felt like I'm writing with a long-known buddy while actually writing with a complete stranger on the other side of the globe.

What a breath of fresh air! I have struggled with other hosting sites' customer service and Miroslav was simply amazing.

Really, really knowledgeable, very patient and polite. The chat lasted 2 hours but it didn't feel that long - not on my side at least. We got loads done from picking a plan, beginning the migration and transfer of domains and websites.

If this is what support is like on siteground then I have died and gone to hosting heaven!!!

I shopped around for a while and finally decided on siteground to manage my wordpress site. I was excited about the added functionality of wordpress.org as I have always used .com in the past. Siteground seemed like a great all in one choice to help take some of the technical pieces out of the .org install/etc. Once going to my page I tried configuring the jetpack addon and after several failed signin attempts I noticed that it was prompting for a wordpress.com account. My stomach dropped. I thought that I had just overpaid for a different gui to manage a .com site.

I immediately signed on to the chat and Ivaylo was super responsive and helpful. He walked me though my concerns, responded quickly, and explained it is a plugin used with the .com but the install is a .org and it will work with the theme for wordpress.org I had paid for. He was nice enough to reconfirm several times and mentioned that if I have any other problems as I am going through the process to come back and they will help. The fact that it is 11pm and I didn't have to wait til tomorrow was great as well.

I have been running a number of WordPress sites on my own server for many years now, and have been hacked repeatedly over the past six months, causing me a great deal of stress. I have been absolutely knocked out by the ease with which SiteGround have been able to transfer my sites in, and I was particularly grateful to Anton N who helped me diagnose some sources of heavy traffic on one of the sites I brought in that was eating up all my resources. It is a real weight off my mind to know the deep expertise and prompt service is there to call on if I need it. We've just transferred from another provider and there were a few problems in the process that were quite frustrating and resulted in the site being down quite a lot, but your support team were very helpful in getting everything back up and running again. In the process they also revealed some issues with the way our site is built and gave us advice on how to improve it, which they are still helping me with now. Everyone was very helpful, but I'd like to mention the following people in particular:

Nikolay Arabadzhiev - For dealing the initial job of transferring our site from our previous host.

Rusi Malinov and Dimitar G. - for getting the situation fixed when there were a few frustrating problems after the transfer.

Georgi Vichev - Quickly solving the problem I had with accessing our PhpMyAdmin, so I could begin optimising the database.

George M. - For helping with me with creating my first robots.txt file and even checking it for me, before kindly taking the next step with our htaccess file as well!

Alexandrina Kazakova and Vladimir Vakov - for enlightening us to the massive issue with bots on our site, as well that we need to reduce/optimise the size of our database.

About a month ago I moved the website for my wife’s company to SiteGround from Web.com after a horrible hacking experience during which I received no help from that provider. My research turned up SiteGround as a first class site for hosting wordpress and other similar websites. I have not been disappointed. From the first, everybody I have dealt with has been both courteous and knowledgeable. No matter what kind of issue I had, whether it was a difficult technical one or one resulting from a hole in my knowledge, you have been helpful and quick to resolve my issues. When there has been a difficulty in communication you have been quick to take responsibility for that, even if it resulted from my initial misstatement of the issue.

I have been in the computer business since 1969 and have development small and large systems and have both worked in and run support organizations. It is rare to find one that has the combination of both good interaction with the end user and the excellent knowledge and patience it takes to resolve issues. You have all this.

I am so sorry I ended the chat so soon, but felt compelled to personally pass on my feedback.

I was having difficulties adding a wordpress site to my hosting and just wanted to know if it was possible. Gabriela A advised that this was possible and showed me where to add the site. She then proceeded to offer to install this for me and configure it. I even had a custom request to preference the www, she took care of this as well. Really well spoken, fast and accurate response and most importantly went above and beyond to assist me.

Over the past 14 years in the I.T. industry I've spoken with my fair share of support officers. I mean this sincerely that Gabriela A. is one of the best support people I've spoken to. Really helpful and I am not regretting moving from hostexcellence AT ALL. As a direct result of this, I am planning to migrate most if not all of my customers over to SiteGround from hostexcellence without any hesitation.

Email is now working perfectly everywhere. SiteGround Tech support has been fantastic. I called them this morning because I couldn't get into the cPanel. It turned out the system locked us out for security reasons (to many attempts). They cleared it. Total time about 5 minutes. They answered immediately. The email also is much quicker. We just have to come up with a strategy for archiving and deleting emails so we don't build up 6GB on SG server.

As a beginner, I have been struggling for the entire day with my previous host and was frustrated with all the new terms that I have to get used to in order to set up a website. I would like to take a moment to formally thank you. We have been going through a technology upgrade in our home offices and the past few weeks have been hectic.

We have had to ask many questions through chat and call as well as open a few tickets. From time to time I'm sure we have perhaps gotten on your nerves.

One example is that the setup of our phone system is so vague that even the vendor's install engineers are having issues understanding their own software for setup as it applied for use on non-self hosted servers (shared services hosting for email).

I would really really really like to thank two of your representative for the help and the good work they did over chat. First I would like to thank the PreSales questions representative, Miroslav M. Without him, I would not be a customer. He answered all of my questions, and more in a personable, friendly way, that I have no experienced in a long time. I was so frustrated from speaking to godaddy for HOURS and HOURS yesterday, trying to fix a problem of a slow site, that I was just done with it. He went above and beyond what was needed, and I appreciate him taking the time to do so. He made choosing SiteGround very easy, which is hard to do because there are so many different hosting companies, with cheaper prices, but service representatives like my man Miroslav make it worth the extra $$. He either needs a promotion, a raise, or to become the owner of the company. I would be okay with any of those choices. Or a firm pat on the back and a "Brandon says thank you" would work to. I am not really picky. Just let him know that his work ethic was VERY appreciated by me. I asked him if there was anyone he wanted me to talk to, to tell him how good of a job he did, and he said no. That just shows he is a good employee.

Kamen G is another gentleman I would like to thank. He spent a long time helping me diagnose some plugin problems with wordpress, and basically said "Hey Brandon, sit back, and let me fix this for you". He troubleshot dozens of things, and finally came to the solution. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Another great customer service representative.

I just think that everyone should know how great of a job they are doing, and that they should be an example. Not only within SiteGround, but throughout all other hosting companies. They are setting the expectation high.

No, I love SiteGround because of its customer service. Today is an example of that. I had thoroughly messed up one of my websites--deleted files, messed up an install of a theme, and so on. All on my own, mind you! I could have gone to a back-up, but I really needed a push to update the whole thing anyway, and what better time than after having destroyed everything anyway? I didn't want to mess anything else up, though, so I dialed in to your chat and got Denitsa D. Denitsa listened to what I wanted, and then rather than trying to guide me through another process I could mess up entirely, offered to re-do the whole thing for me. And she did!!! I now have a blank slate to start off from, and all is well in the world. Please convey my thanks and kudos for a job well and painlessly done!

I've spent an inordinate amount of time with innumerable customer service reps over my 36 years as a businessman and Ivan P. just provided the most superlative service I ever recall receiving! If he hasn't received a raise for awhile, give him one! He was very focussed on customer satisfaction, simplistic service, and extraordinary kindness. I am very IT challenged. I foolishly volunteered to revamp the UK site for the Hewlett Packard User Group (hpug.org.uk) and, as I have picked up some Drupal knowledge over the years, decided to use that.

In order to run the new site in parallel with the other, I registered the name decus.org.uk (after the old Digital Equipment Computer Users Society).

However, all my other sites have domains managed by Siteground and, although I have researched how to transfer the DNS to point to decus.org.uk, it seems my 35 years of IT support missed out big chunks of DNS management.

I signed up with SiteGround having been told that your service was exceptional – joined primarily because of that service expectation. I just had a support chat session with Todor. It’s my first contact with any of your staff. In context, the help I needed was very basic stuff, run-of-the-mill setup stuff.

I can’t think of anything that Todor could have done to improve the help he gave. He was friendly, efficient, respectful (of even the dumbest questions), and willing to find ways to help beyond my initial problem.

Honestly, I wish I’d been able to record the session to share it with other helpdesk staff (including my former employer’s) to show them what customer service should be.

This service quality is exactly what I was looking for when I joined with you.

Just want to let you know Miroslav M. has done an awesome pre-sales job, and out of all the Magento partner sites, which for some reason noted you weren’t on the Magento list, but heard good feedback from the blogs, and ‘guys on the front line’ who use you.

He answered all my questions well, highlighted key features and benefits for anything I didn’t understand, and beat the socks off of all so called Magento partner competitors I spoke to i.e. Tenzing, Rackspace.

I’ll be in touch next week to follow up my query with an order for Enterprise Cloud Hosting, and I now just hope the setup, and after-sales support will be just as responsive and informative.

Having just had an issue with name servers on the hosting, I initiated a chat via the live chat feature provided.

The representative who answered my question, Momchil Bakov, did an excellent job of solving my problem. Despite internet connectivity issues on my end and continuing to reconnect, he was able to keep track of the issue and provide immediate, honest, clearly structured, polite and grammatically sound answers to all my hastily formed questions. I would most definitely recommend others to this service simply due to outstanding customer support.
