My website is showing: This Account Has Been Suspended.

If you see this message when you try to open your website, this means that your hosting account has been suspended. There are several reasons that might lead to this:

1. Your web hosting account has expired.

2. The account has been suspended by your host for some reason (e.g. violation of the Terms of Use, server resource overusage, etc).

This may be the perfect time to consider changing hosts. SiteGround has long experience in providing web hosting services for all kinds of sites - from small personal sites to large business portals.

We always show maximum understanding to each and every customer and his/her needs.

If you wish to switch hosts because you are not happy with your current one, SiteGround will happily welcome you. By signing up for an account with us, you can have the site from your previous host transferred to us for free. We'll also ensure that your site is configured to work properly on our servers.

If your hosting account has been suspended for server resource overusage, this means that your account is not suitable for a shared server.

Fortunately, SiteGround offers a whole range of dedicated servers and cloud solutions which will readily meet your site's growing resource needs.

I was using Site Ground for over 3 years now , I came across a hacker that side he would do anything for money. I liked his guts , and so i decided to try him with some hacking projects . I told him to hack my competitor's website which he did and he dumb all the files the competitor stole from me .
To my greatest surprise he did . I paid him for that and then asked him to hack my website . Knowing fully well that i was using Site Ground .
He came back to me after 24 hours saying that he tried all he could but he couldn't get to my website .

      God Bless

Would you mind do something before place "Account Suspended" notice and lock access to our website?

    • Reply August 29, 2016 / 05:54 Hristo PandjarovSiteGround Team

It really depends on why the account was suspended for. In most cases we send emails to the site owner to warn them that something's wrong.

My account is suspended and I don't know why, how can I fix it?

    • Reply October 24, 2016 / 13:39 Ivan StefanovSiteGround Team

Christine, in most cases accounts are suspended if they've expired. The best course of action is to submit a support ticket from your UserArea and my colleagues will check the case immediately.
