Server Timeout

A Server Timeout can be caused by a lot of different things, but usually it occurs when a script execution is taking too long and the Web Server hasn't received a result that can pass to the client, after certain time. In order to increase the time the Web Servers wait for the results of the script that is being executed and thus avoid timing-out, you can try to following the steps below: Identify which script's execution is taking a log of time. The easiest way to do that is to check the URL in your address bar, where you are receiving the error. For example, if you are receiving the error when opening: http://www.domain.com/testscript.php the issue would be related to "testscript.php". For applications such as Joomla!, WordPress, Magento where you have permalinks / SEO URLs, the executions usually pass through the index.php so you can increase the Timeout for it, too. After you are aware which is the script that timeouts, add the following code in the .htaccess file in your domain's document root: [crayon-58a9c8d604df3873297604/] You can replace "testscript.php" with the file name of the script that is causing issues in your end.
