How to reset my Gallery 3 administrative password

If you have forgotten your Gallery administrative password and want to recover it, you can use the "password recover mechanism" which is available under your Gallery’s login page. Please note that you must have access to the email address which you have provided as administrative during the installation process or which you have set later through the administrative area. In case you do not have access to that email address, you can set a new one directly through the database related to the Gallery3 website. You can use the following instructions to access it and make the necessary changes: Access your cPanel -> Databases section and click phpMyAdmin . Once phpMyAdmin loads select the Gallery3 database* from the drop-down menu to the left. The page will refresh and the database’s tables will be displayed. Open the SQL tab (look at the top navigation bar). In the text field write the following SQL query: [crayon-5842cb2607653559275993/] Change "email" with the email address you wish the new password to be sent to and "admin_username" with your Gallery3 administrative username. Bear also in mind that the g3_ prefix may differ for your database. You can see the correct prefix after selecting the Gallery3 database inside the phpMyAdmin tool. How can I install/configure my Gallery2 to work properly with the server URL?

If you want to be able to access your Gallery2 through the server's URL, you have to edit the main configuration file, which is config.php and it is located into the main Gallery2 directory. You can edit the file using the File Manager in your cPanel.
