How to retrieve the mails from SpamAssassin’s Spam Box?
In this case we assume you have enabled the Spam Box option in cPanel, SpamAssassin. From this point on all emails identified as spam will be moved to a separate folder for each email account.
In order to retrieve the emails from the spam box for your email account firstname.lastname@example.org, follow these steps:
- Open your mail client;
- Create a new mail account duplicating all settings for the original email@example.com. When specifying the account's username, enter firstname.lastname@example.org/spam
- Check/Download the mail for the newly created email email@example.com/spam.
Note that firstname.lastname@example.org needs to be changed to your actual email account.
