WordCamps in December: we sponsor and give some free tickets away

SiteGround is a proud sponsor of two WordCamps that will take place during December 2011. As part of our sponsorship we had a few free tickets to give away and the following WordPress users, who host a website with SiteGround and have expressed interest in one of the events have won the tickets:

WordCamp Orlando on December 3rd, 2011

1. David Leith
2. Andrew Haughn
3. William Smith

WordCamp Las Vegas on December 17th, 2011

1. Glen Winfield
2. Jake Taylor
3. Issaga Kane
4. Celeste Brown

We wish the ticket winners have some great time, meet other WordPress users and fans and learn many new things. It will be also great if you can share your experience after the event in a comment below this blog post.

  • The Vegas WordPress camp was pretty groovy. Being new to WordPress it was a chance for an overview of the application. There was some good info on eCommerce and Multimedia the things I was interested in. It's funny how of all of the information presented it was the security that made me reevaluate all my security from the websites I have created to my own personal web surfing. It was a well worth trip to Las Vegas, thanks.

    • Hi Michael, thanks for your interest in attending the Phoenix event. You've been added to our candidates list. Our sponsorship and tickets give away will be shortly officially announced on the blog, so keep an eye here for updates!

      • Hi Michael, I'm coordinating things with the organizers, but it's taking them a while to get back to me. We have our tickets guaranteed as part of our sponsorship, so I'm hoping everything will be OK. I'm expecting their reply today and will keep you in the loop.

      • Registration deadlines are already passing for the one in Phoenix, where I am. I have already missed some class choices. Please hurry with this or the Phoenix WordCamp will be missed.

  • From the WordCamp Phoenix website:

"Class registration will be open to the general public on January 29, so you’ll need to register before then to receive the magical early-access code and guarantee your spot.

FYI, many of our classes sold out in advance last year. Just sayin’."

I feel like it is slipping through my fingers.

I will be away from my computer until tomorrow so if something comes up please call me at 602-696-0632. Thank You.

    • Michael, I'm still waiting a reply from the organizers. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but nothing I can do unfortunately. I'll try to call them today if don't get an update by the end of the day. Thanks!

      • Michael, let's continue our communication over email. I just sent you a message on the email you've provided for the comment. Thanks!

      • I guess I'll just pay the registration fee myself. If I keep waiting I'll be missing out. I would have thought Siteground would have had this worked out before announcing it to their faithful customers.
