SiteGround Went Skiing

To be a part of the big SiteGround family is not only a constant challenge but also a great privilege. The energy and enthusiasm that we put in our every-day work is being ceaselessly revived by the numerous events and vacations that we take part in. Several months ago we were surprised with another such news – an upcoming ski vacation that will allow SiteGround winter sport lovers to spend some time together in the mountains.

Secret Santa Fun in SiteGround Sales Department

It was a beautiful Monday morning, 26th of December, when we gathered around the office Christmas tree. Under it there were gifts for each of us, all wrapped and pretty, all with carefully written name tags on them. But let us start from the beginning, so that we can better explain the scene described above.

A memorable goodbye to 2011!

SiteGroundLast Friday was a long day. Really, really long, but it was totally worth it. We’ve been preparing for the Christmas party – which by the way has become a tradition in SiteGround – for a month and the day had finally come. Every year we gather our whole team around Christmas on something like a mini-Conference event. SiteGround Internal Conference Fall 2011 – you can now explain your granny what you really work!

So here comes the first internal conference aiming to make all of us understand the underlying trends in our industry and the company business strategies better.

The new “home” of SiteGround customer service

Hey, I am writing this blog post to let you know we’ve moved our Customer Service to a new, better and significantly larger office! We are so excited about it, because we believe that it is important how people feel about their job and that the efficient, comfortable and cozy work environment influences positively the quality of our Customers Service.

Here’s the short story of our Customer Service offices: The first customer service office we established apart from our head office was in the romantic initial years of SiteGround, when we, less than 10 founders and enthusiasts that started the company, were doing everything ourselves. I remember with some nostalgia those times when we spent weeks doing job interviews all day long and wiring PCs and switches in the evening.
