2016 was the most successful in the history of SiteGround. We kept growing in terms of clients and employees and we worked on many new projects that improved further the quality of our service. One of the key factors for our success is the relationship with our affiliate partners. During the past year we welcomed 63% more affiliates and witnessed a 60% increase in the number of the affiliate sales. We have distributed nearly $6 millions in commissions.
"How to Maximize Income from Your Website” is the final session from our affiliate webinar series. You will learn different methods to increase your site traffic, and success tips to help you better convert your traffic to generate higher affiliate income. Find below a recording of the session and slides from the presentation.
For the last few months there have been times that I wasn't present at the office, I could not attend some of the weekly SiteGround meetings and I have neglected a lot of the internal mail communication, that needed my attention. But it was all for a great reason -- I was lucky and honored to be part of the core organizing team of what turned out to be one of the most successful WordCamps. With 2 conference days, a packed Contributors Day and almost 800 people in attendance, I dare to say that WordCamp Europe was one of the best and most rewarding experiences I’ve ever been part of.
As firm believers in educating and empowering all our clients and affiliates, we extended our webinars tradition and last week started a new webinar series for SiteGround affiliates. I was honored to present the first webinar which was focused on the tools and features available in our affiliate area. As the tradition goes, we're making the video reply and slides publicly available, so feel free to watch here and download!
This week we kicked off yet another Joomla webinars series – this time we partnered with our friends from OSTraining to talk about Joomla management and Joomla security. Our first webinar from the series was yesterday. Steve Burge, OSTraining founder, shared a lot of useful tip and tricks on how to make your Joomla life easier. As promised, we’re sharing the video replay in case you missed the session.
After a short summer break our educational webinar initiative continues with WordPress! Yesterday we hosted our first WordPress webinar about WordPress security with Brad Williams and Brian Messenlehner from WebDevStudios. We had a really good crowd of attendees and a great discussion at the end.
There are more webinars to come and we would love to hear from you about your preferred topics. Throw your suggestions in the comments below!
As the tradition goes, we’re sharing the video replay and the presentation slides!
We just got back from a long and utterly exciting journey to San Francisco for the biggest WordCamp of the year – WordCamp San Francisco. We proudly sponsored the conference for a second consecutive year and to say that we had a blast will be an understatement! There were more than 600 people attending, and I had the feeling we spoke to almost all of them, amazing line-up of speakers and sessions, including Matt Mullenweg’s State of the Word, and the Contribute day that made this event especially valuable for me personally.
