Megan is one of the people we often see mentioning SiteGround in Twitter. That is how she got this "word of mouth hero" t-shirt 🙂 She is a professional web designer with substantial experience with Joomla and we thank her for all the good feelings she has shared. Read More

It’s time for the second interview from our new blog series - “Meet our very special customers”. Today we introduce to you Saleh Bucay from Saudi Arabia. He has more than 10 websites hosted with us, and his first website al-nisa.net was uploaded on our servers only 2 months after launching SiteGround.com. What fascinates us most though are the projects he’s involved in. Read through the interview with him to learn who the Maranao people are and what the organization he’s involved in does to empower Muslim women. Read More
I work for SiteGround since the company was founded and I still remember well these hard and romantic times in the beginning, when each of us knew the name and the website of almost all our customers. Now, seven years and thousands of customers later, as a head of the Marketing Department I seldom have the chance to get to know in such details anyone using our services. However, at the end of the last year I got a new opportunity to learn more about some of our most outstanding clients. We had an initiative to find the most loyal customers and to surprise them with custom made t-shirts and with a blog post with an interview with each of them. So this is the start of a series that will present:

There were many people in this category and the person we will be happy to start with, is Michel Smekens, the SEO of a web design bureau in Belgium: webnology.be, who has chosen to host their customers with us. He will tell us more about his work and his reasons to be with SiteGround in his featured interview. Read More
On behalf of the whole SiteGround team we would like to say a big "Thank you!" to all customers, who took part in our Thanksgiving initiative! The true stories you shared on your websites about your SiteGround experience were absolutely amazing, sincere and inspired. It is great to see that our team and service are appreciated for the things we believe are important and put special effort on. So it is our turn to say:

You can imagine my surprise, as I am a marketing person, and I have never written a single line of anything even remotely resembling a source code. But it was definitely not my mother's fault, it was me, apparently not being able to explain to her what web hosting is and what I do in a web hosting company. The thought that the situation can be similar for many of my co-workers worried me a little, because as Albert Einstein says: “You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother.”
I know that each and everyone in SiteGround is a fine expert in his/her day-to-day activity, but what each of us tend to miss to some extent is the big-picture perspective. So here comes the first internal conference aiming to make all of us understand the underlying trends in our industry and the company business strategies better.
First of all, let me thank all of the people that have participated in our Halloween Social Media Challenge! We have been waved away by the huge number of positive and original comments you left in our blog, our FaceBook page, Twitter and YouTube. The total number of the posts we received in one week is itself astounding – 1118, but what really makes all of the SiteGrounders feel that their work is worthwhile, is the fact that so many people took this initiative as a chance to share some great personal experience with our company. So, thank you once again for being not just customers, but for being part of the sharing and positive community we try to build within and around our company. And here are the winners...
