How to Add Articles in Joomla 3

In this tutorial we will show you how to add new articles to your website. The easiest way to do this in Joomla 3.0 is to use the quick navigation on your main admin screen. Click on the Add New Article in order to proceed with the creation of content for your site.

On the next page, you must give your article a title and enter its actual content using the Joomla WYSIWYG editor. Then, if you want to show this article on your front page, set the Featured option to Yes, from the right set of options. Once you finish adding your content, simply click on the Save button in the top left part of the page and it will be published on your site.

Note, that Joomla 3.x allows you to chose which and how many articles you can show on your front page. If you're used to previous Joomla versions, you can edit the Home menu to display all Featured articles.
