Changing the admin password

You can change your e107 admin password from the e107 admin area -> Admin password:

Once there, you should type your new admin password and click Change password to save the change:

Granting admin privileges

In e107 you can grant admin privileges to a certain user. This can be done from the admin area -> Users:

Under Options, next to the user you wish to grant admin privileges to, you should choose Make admin:

You can also remove admin privileges from admin users by choosing Remove admin status:

Mail settings

You can edit the mail options from the e107 admin area -> Mail. To configure which emailing method to use, you should click Options located at the right side of the Mail preferences. It would be best to use SMTP. The configuration should be similar to this:
