What is Subdomain?
In the Domain Name System (DNS) hierarchy, the subdomain is a domain that is part of a larger domain name. They are separated by dots "." and are read descending from left to right. Popular real-life examples of subdomains are news.google.com and mail.yahoo.com in which news and mail are the subdomains.
SiteGround basic hosting account includes Unlimited FREE subdomains. They will help you organize your website better. Each subdomain will open separate "index" page, and your subdomains are kept in separate sub-folders on your website. You can manage your Subdomains from your web-based Control Panel (cPanel). From cPanel you have the ability to add/remove subdomains; to create subdomain redirects and to check stats for subdomains.
