SiteGround Goes Local!
We've had it planned for a long time, but now it's finally for real! We are getting closer to our customers and enhancing our local presence with custom country-specific offers. Starting with Europe, we are adding local phone numbers, offering more country-specific domains and accepting payments in more currencies. As of September, all customers from the UK will be charged in GBP and customers from the rest of Europe will be charged in EURO. We've launched local phone lines for the UK, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, and Belgium and the rest of Europe will be able to reach us at a centralized UK number. We have also expanded our country-specific domains portfolio and offer some of them for free with a new account to clients from the respective country. We are working towards adding even more currencies, local phone numbers and country-specific services in the future, so stay tuned.

Event Tickets Giveaways
We're continuing the tradition to give away tickets for the events we are sponsoring worldwide. In the following months we have two tickets for JoomlaDay Germany (Sept. 13-14), five tickets for JoomlaDay Spain (Sept. 27-28) and one ticket for JoomlaDay Poland (Oct. 05-06) to give away to clients who would like to attend. To claim free tickets for any of these events, tell us which one and why you would like to attend at news@siteground.com.

Joomla Vulnerability Covered
The Joomla! project issued a version update earlier last month. A few days afterwards, a security issue prompted the quick roll out of yet another release - Joomla! 3.1.5/2.5.14. We had our clients covered in time - you can read about the issue and its resolution in our blog post. If you are using Joomla and have enabled Auto-updates, we already updated your version to the latest one. If not, we strongly recommend to update manually.

WordPress „3.6“ Oscar edition
Another of our most popular website applications - WordPress - also had new major release last month. WordPress „3.6“ Oscar edition was issued and we've summed up all its new cool features in our blog. If you are a WordPress user and have enabled Auto-updates on your account, we've already updated your installation. If not, we strongly recommend you to update manually, so that you don't miss out on some great stuff.
