As you may have already noticed, this month marked some great changes in the SiteGround Customer Area. It had a complete design makeover along with some brand new features, all aimed to improve the way your account information is displayed and simplify the way you interact with it. You'll see better web design layouts, easier management and an overall more intuitive interface - so that you can take your mind off the mundane tasks of managing your hosting and focus on your website content.

Putting the face behind the name

We've always said that SiteGround is about the people who work here. Now you can see what we mean - we've put up personal profiles of all our employees. Each time you get in touch with one of our representatives via our HelpDesk and soon Livechat, you will be able to see their profile with technical background, years of experience, specific areas of expertise and interests. We've also added an option for uploading your own personal avatar in your Client profile. Putting the face behind the name and the title in the digital age makes communication more human - and ultimately far more pleasant.

Simplified account management

We said good-bye to infinite scroll and information clutter - by consolidating each account along with its extra features into a section of its own. Within each one, you will find useful links leading directly to the most frequently used account management features - Manage account, cPanel, etc. The visual layout changes should improve your ability to easily manage your accounts and domains. You can also immediately jump to a particular account thanks to the newly added account filtering option.

Easy-to-contact us Support Section

No more having to choose between numerous categories. We've simplified our HelpDesk Issues topics and arranged them into fewer and more general categories - meaning, it is now easier to post a ticket on the respective topic. We've also allowed much quicker access to self-service HelpDesk information and live assistance. It is very important to us that the Support HelpDesk is a reflection of the way our clients use it, so you can expect on-going improvements in this section.

Our rich database of hosting and software tutorials has always been at your disposal, but a little hard to navigate. That's why , this time around, we've arranged the tutorials in a more pleasant way and allowed you to arrange them by preference. Just favorite the tutorials you use most frequently or want to save for later and they will be conveniently stored in your Favorites section for easier access anytime!
