Step 1. Open a new account to host your website in transfer.

To take advantage of the promotion and transfer another website to SiteGround for free, you need to get a new hosting account for it first. To do this, please login to your Customer Area -> Order Accounts section and place your order.

Step 2. Have your website transferred to the SiteGround servers for FREE.

Once your new account is created, you may contact our Technical team to get a free transfer of your files and databases. To contact our techs, just log into your Customer Area -> Get Support Section, and click on the "Help Desk - report a hosting related issue" link. Post your ticket in the Website File Transfer category.

* To have your site moved for free, please request the website transfer within the first 30 days from signing up for your account.

Step 3. Have your prepaid months with your previous host compensated!

If you have any months left unused with your former host, we will add up to 6 of these months to your new SiteGround account! Just send us a proof of the expiration date of your old hosting account within the first 7 days from signing up for your new account with us - a sales receipt, screenshot of your member area there, or a welcome email together with a copy of a cancellation notice proving that you have canceled your account with your former host.

Step 4. Transfer your domain name to SiteGround with a few mouse clicks.

If you also wish to move your domain name to SiteGround and manage it together with your website, simply log into your Customer Area -> Order Extras and click on Domain Transfer.
